Retention offer

A retention offer is the "are you sure?" made concrete. Instead of a generic discount for everyone, the offer should match the reason the customer gave: a pause for "not using it right now", a discount for "too expensive", a downgrade for "need fewer features".

Offering the right incentive at the right moment saves customers who would otherwise have left, without giving away margin to customers who were going to stay anyway.

churnguardian maps each cancellation reason to a relevant offer and can test variants against a control group to measure the real save rate.
